25% of proceeds go to the Fallen Rangers Project - an organization that supports the families left behind after the tragic loss of a ranger in the Virunga National Park. This park is a UNESCO World Heritage site in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and the most biologically diverse protected area in the continent of Africa. It is home to 218 species of mammal, including the Critically Endangered Mountain gorilla. With decades of civil war in the area, rangers have been killed in conflict with rebel forces. This fund provides financial safety for the families of rangers who lost their lives in the line of duty, protecting the wildlife of DRC.
